Feedback about our thriller from class

The feed back that we had was not what i really planned on hearing but gave us a big goal of what we had to do.

Things that were good:

Overall the feedback was that it was alright and one thing that was pinpointed was that we had good match cuts and most of the shots were good. However we had a lot more to improve on.

Things that need improving
  • Retake the dark shots at the start of the thriller
  • Use sound as a signal for danger/ to create tension and suspense
  • Use Foley sound
  • At the ending, use a huge fade so it looks like it has been blacked out
  • Make the story clearer
  • Add the scene where the man prepares the belt so it's understandable to the audience and to make other scenes clearer
The points raised are all things that we also noticed and we think will help to make our thriller opening better and we are going to take on all the points from the feedback.
